He is nominated in the category “Best Merengue/Bachata Album” for “Agradecido Live”.
Although this is his sixth nomination, for Eddy Herrera being nominated for the greatest award in Latin music, will always provoke the same emotion and he expressed it with this nomination for the Latin Grammy 2024.
“I feel immense joy and satisfaction to receive this news of my Latin Grammy nomination. I’m celebrating my sixth Latin Grammy nomination and I’m sharing it with all my fans and the great team that worked hard and with dedication; congratulations to all the nominees and long live merengue”, said Herrera.
“Agradecido Live” is the singer-songwriter’s 18th album, where he summarizes part of his greatest hits in 20 songs under the direction and musical production of Antonio González. This album is from the show performed in 2023 at the Gran Teatro del Cibao.
Eddy Herrera, also expressed the emotion and pride he feels to share this category with his compatriots Juan Luis Guerra 4.40, Magic Juan and Prince Royce, as well as with the Puerto Rican Oscarito. “As a Dominican, I’m proud to be nominated along with my dear compatriots and colleagues and that there is a diverse representation of our music”.
