“Affinity” was on the podium of the Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe set at the Memorial ACTe this Thursday, November 15 from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. This band is made up of five middle-aged men and a young singer. It is one of those many talented musical groups that exist in all cities and towns of the island and play at popular or private parties.
In front of an audience consisting mainly of locals who had come to listen to good local music, the members played several tracks belonging to well known Guadeloupean, Martinican and Haitian singers and groups as for example “Chiktay”, “Kwak”, Éric Virgal, Ti Mano, “Vayb”… If the charming singer seemed perfectly comfortable in front of this crowd, the singer, on the other hand, seemed rather impressed, he had dark glasses, it was difficult to take pictures of him and he communicated more with other group members than with audience.
Let’s hope that this band, “Affinity”, will participate more regularly in this kind of big stages to become familiar with this new atmosphere.
