In the midst of the wave of gender violence experienced by many Dominican women, the urban artist La Insuperable has found the motivation to launch the song “Tengo derecho” (I have the right), a special song to encourage women to assume their rights, not to be ill-treated, to seek help and be brave. The singer, who has just returned from a tour in Europe, has become the main female representative of the urban genre and because she is aware of the influence of the lyrics on many people and the responsibility she has as an artist, she has decided to release this song for his female followers.
The single, produced by the oustanding producer Big Trueno, comes with a video directed by Rodrigo Films available on the main digital platforms.
“It’s been a long time since I had this idea in my head, I know that many of my fans are going through some situation of physical or verbal abuse, and as a song can discourage you, I am aware of the power of music and that a song can also be a positive influence to encourage a person who is going through a difficult time and even to motivate her to act”, said Indhira Ircania Luna, the artist’s true name.
After this song La Insuperable, who this year appeared for the first time in a film playing in the lead “El equipito” by Roberto Ángel Salcedo, has in her file the launch of some collaborations with international artists.
