The 2nd edition of the digital Pool Art Fair Guadeloupe takes place from July 1 to 4  

24 artists and 168 works to discover 24 hours a day during 4 days in Guadeloupe, the Caribbean and the rest of the world.

They will be 24 artists to take part in the digital Pool Art Fair Guadeloupe 2021 : Adly, Thierry Alet, Antonwè, Élie Babel aka Llabe, Astrid Billy, Cédrick Isham, Aurélie-Victoire Célanie, Alice Démoly, Djafri, Goodÿ, Joselita Guayroso, Patricia Lollia, Edwige M, PeTRA, Ricko Art, Jérôme Sainte-Luce, Rony Sidon, Margaux Sourisseau, Zoé (Guadeloupe) ; Carole Aurore (Martinique) ; Francis Eck (St Martin) ; Juliane Kaestner (Switzerland) ; Mister Co (Senegal); Catherine Seznec (Réunion).

Each artist, who will introduce himself in video vignettes, will have a personal exhibition composed of 7 works in an individual digital gallery and each artist will also exhibit 2 works in a 3D hall created for the occasion, making a total of 168 works to be discovered by Internet users (collectors, art critics, curators, institutions and cultural professionals) from Guadeloupe, the Caribbean and the whole world, who are lovers of contemporary art.

This 2nd digital edition will take place from July 1 to 4 instead of June 24 to 27 as previously announced by the association Frère Independent, organizer of this great artistic event. The opening will be held tomorrow, Thursday, July 1 from 7:00 pm in the hall of La Darse market in Pointe-à-Pitre, in compliance with the barrier gestures imposed by this health crisis.

Like last year, a series of mini-exhibitions of works by artists who participated in the digital event will be displayed at the Art Ruche gallery-café located opposite La Darse market hall, at 6 quai Layrle, in Pointe-à-Pitre. Each week, the public will visit a solo or duo exhibition and meet the artists in person.

Following the first edition of the Pool Art Fair Guadeloupe in its digital version – launched in October 2020 due to the global Covid- 19 epidemic – the association Frère Independent expressed satisfaction with this first online and 3D immersion in contemporary art with 41 participating artists, 6,000 unique visits to the website for more than 200,000 interactions.
