The producer has played an important role in the beginnings of dembow music, after supporting talents such as “Leo RD” in the documentary “Straight from los guandules”.
In order to highlight various talents of the dembow genre, the famous film producer Paul Stewart is in the Dominican Republic to “discover” these emerging artists through the project “Dembowmania”, in which participated the musical creator “Leo RD”.
It is important to note that Paul Stewart was the manager of the popular rapper Coolio, recently deceased, and was in charge of overseeing the song “Gansta Paradise”, a musical title that revolutionized the hip-hop genre.
Paul Stewart has also represented several artists and musical projects around the world, including: “Warren G”, “House Of Pain”, as well as songs used in “Fast & Furious 2” and more than 50 other films.
This is not the first time that the Dominican Republic scene has conquered Stewart’s artistic eye, as we remember that he played an important role in the beginnings of dembow music, after supporting talents like “Leo RD” in the documentary “Straight from los guandules”.
“The Dominican Republic always surprises me with great emerging talent, whenever I have the opportunity to go back to this country, I check it out and take with me different experiences. In DembowMania, we are looking for a singer who in addition to charisma also has discipline, concentration and a lot of passion for music”, said the famous audiovisual producer.
DembowMania is an idea conceived by artist and music producer Obreidy, together with other experts in the urban music industry, to collaborate with emerging local talent.
