Beres Hammond, Jamaica’s beloved Godfather of Lover’s Rock, drops his newest single, “Let Me Help You”, an ode to a woman that Beres wants to see smile again. Recognizing that life has given her some difficult times, Beres lifts her burdens by lending a listening ear, and complimenting her virtues.
The re-recorded version of the 1988 song “Let Me Help You” shines with Beres’s smoky-sweet voice that is synonymous with Lover’s Rock. To complement the release, Spotify’s new music Friday feature will include billboard positioning at Toronto’s iconic Yonge-Dundas Square, and New York’s Times Square.
