The comedy tells harmful love stories that always come back.
On August 26 and 27, the play “Vistimas y Tóxicos” starring influencer and actress Candy Flow and actor and producer Ismael Almonte, will be presented at the Rooftop of the Homewood Suites By Hilton, located in Winston Churchill, in two unique performances.
The play tells the story of friends Diego and Fernanda, who meet for drinks as usual, both having experienced painful past love affairs. But that night during their conversations they decide to stop being victims and look for new love adventures. However, in the midst of all this, the past of their toxic relationships always comes back.
“It’s a play for fun and, in a way, thinking about the relationships that mark us, this is my first time doing theatre, I admit I’m nervous and I do it with a lot of respect, you have to have a lot of discipline to be able to get onstage, but I will give my best”, said Candy Flow.
The comedy is written by Ismael Almonte and Albania Peña, with adaptation and direction by Rosa Aurora. It will be performed at the new alternative space for live performances, opened at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotel in Santo Domingo.
“Vistimas y Tóxicos is a comedy that we wrote so that people have fun and have a good time, we are living in difficult times and people need to laugh, with this play I assure you that they will laugh from beginning to end”, explained Ismael Almonte.
