As usual, the parade of Mardi Gras in the city of Basse-Terre fulfilled all its promises. 150 000 people (residents and tourists) came to admire the decorations imagined by about 50 groups from all the island and which make the carnival specificity in the capital of Guadeloupe. For more ten hours, the crowd stayed in the sun and sometimes in the rain to miss nothing of this marvellous show.
