The vision of the U.S.-based Dominican designer is to use fashion as a tool for social change.
Dominican designer Erika Olivares has made one of her biggest dreams come true this year by launching a collection that showcases the elegance and femininity of women, and she has achieved with “Nude Collection”, a work created with love, designed for lovers of neutral colors.
“‘Nude’ plays with both the color palette and the concept of showing the skin in an ingenious and elegant way. The collection aims to empower women, enhancing their confidence, sensuality and elegance simultaneously”, says Olivares.
With a spectacular selection of dresses in 29 different models, the collection is perfect for special occasions, during the holiday season, and offers a combination of luxury and grace for every moment.
This refined celebration of neutral tones includes white, black, beige, gold, silver and soft pinks shades, combined with luxurious fabrics such as velvet, satin, organza and tulle. This collection is designed to evoke timeless elegance and sensuality, capturing the essence of sophisticated charm without falling into vulgarity.
Erika, who started in the fashion world, first in Fashion Management and Marketing, officially presented this new collection at the last edition of RD Fashion Week, the platform that celebrates Dominican talent globally.
“My biggest dream is to build a brand that not only makes people feel safe, sensual and empowered, but also leaves a positive impact on the world. My vision is to use fashion as a tool for social change, creating a bridge between art and the communities that need it most”.
Soon the Santo Domingo-born designer will launch an online platform, which will allow even easier and more convenient access to her collections, including more ‘ready to wear’ pieces. This new option will provide customers with a unique, accessible and direct experience to acquire the pieces that reflect their style and personality.
