Recognized as the inspiration for the next generation, DJ Joe Catador closes a successful 2024 with some of the most listened to and best produced Christmas mixes on YouTube in the Dominican Republic.
In order to bring the warmth of his culture to absent Dominicans, Joe creates these mixes as he prepares for his tour in various cities in Europe and the United States in 2025.
Joel Tapia, known as DJ Joe Catador, mixed merengue classics, bachata, salsa, typical merengue, to create a perfect combination of allegorical songs to the most festive time of the year, condensed in a mix posted on the YouTube platform.
With more than 15 years of experience in the music industry as a DJ, Joe, who has been an inspiration for many of his colleagues, has accumulated millions streams through his famous mixes heard by Latinos, including: “Salsa escrita por dominicanos”, “Bachatas que Salen del Vallenato”, “Salsa sin dejarla caer”, among others that add up to more than 12 million streams.

Joe, who began his career as a DJ in nightclubs, has had a great career that has led him to the radio where he did an urban program on Kiss 94.9 with Anthony Quinn, then went on television with Jesus Gil on channel 11, also on channel 13 under the production of Azcona in the QTV program and later to Digital 15.
