After his successful performances in Colombia and Costa Rica, Eddy Herrera went back home to celebrate the recognition he received from the label Codisco for his 30 years of music career.
Dominican singer, who is nominated as “Best tropical artist” at the fourth edition of the Heat Latin Music Awards, closes in a blaze of glory a successful 2018 and prepares for next year’s new projects.
Among those projects is the release of the tribute album to the late Mexican singer Javier Solís, produced by Jorge Avendaño, from which will come out of a DVD that will be recorded in February 2019 in a theatre in Bogota.
“El galán del merengue“, who has an intense Christmas itinerary in the country, is also preparing to put the finishing touches to his new song with which he will open the new year.
“Without a doubt, 2018 has been an excellent year for me. I celebrate all my achievements and I am ready to celebrate all those that will come in 2019 that seems very promising. The tribute record to Solís makes me very enthusiastic and happy because it will be a romantic production (ranch ballades), a genre I adore and of which I am a lover”, said the performer of “Para toda la vida“.
