As part of her tour – Chawa Tour – the “Diva of Zouk” will stop in the famous Parisian venue, the Folies Bergère.
After promoting her autobiographical book “Loin de l’Amer” published last March, Martinican singer of the band Kassav’ is happy to return to the Parisian stage and perform for her fans living in France. For this great return far from the Caribbean, she chose the Folies Bergère, one of the mythical concert halls created in 1869 in the 9th district of Paris.
During this concert, as part of her tour entitled Chawa Tour, the Diva of Zouk will sing several of her greatest hits such as “Siwo”, “Mové Jou”, “Pa bizwen palé”, “Milans”, “Soley” but also some less known tracks. We imagine that Jocelyne has planned one or several surprises. We also imagine that she will not fail to honor the memory of her friend Jacob Desvarieux who passed away from Covid-19 in June 2021 with whom she has travelled the world for nearly 40 years to promote Zouk music.
As usual, Kassav’ only singer will be accompanied by talented musicians.
Jocelyne Béroard’s Chawa Tour will be launched on October 1 at 7:30 pm at the Aimé Césaire hall of the Atrium in Fort-de-France, Martinique. Then, on October 22, the artist will perform at 8:00 pm at the Sports Palace in Le Gosier, Guadeloupe.
