“With friends”, this is how Maestro Joe Veras shared the launch of his album “Provócame” on evening Tuesday October 22, at a special meeting held at a farm located in Haras Nacionales, Santo Domingo Norte.
There members of the press, family and friends had a more intimate approach in which Veras could sing some songs of production number 17, give details about the album and talk about his future and immediate plans.
From “Provócame”, that has nine songs and is available on the main digital platforms, comes the single “Que poder tiene ella” composed by Cesar David Castro Álvarez with the arrangements made by Veras himself.
“El hombre de tu vida”, who has just arrived from a tour of the United States, spoke at this meeting about the positioning of bachata, after recording the album “Utopia” by Romeo Santos, whom he accompanied in his concert last September. With Santos he recorded the song “Amor enterrado”.
“Today bachata is well known all over the world, they call me from Colombia, Ecuador, Salvador, for next year I have several engagements from everywhere, even in Venezuela”, he said.
The important part of the team
He also underlined: “I wanted to make this formal presentation and I wanted to do it this way to introduce the musicians. Sometimes the composer is not recognized, the one who made the arrangement is not recognized, so I want everyone to see that they play an important part in a song”.
On the Josciel Records label, in this record production, Joe reinvented himself and, as always, he steeped it with the quality that always characterized him with modern shades and colors.
Among the titles in “Provócame” are: “Sediento de ti” and “Te ofrezco” by Angela García Báez, “Ruta de besos” by Henríquez Félix, among others.
The bachatero is ready to give a series of artistic performances in the country until December. For next year, he plans to return to the United States on tour.
