José Luis Mercedes, known in the artistic field as K2 La Para, continues working in search of his space in the competitive world of Dominican urban music.
The urban performer is heard on national radio with the promotional title “Bum Bum Tam Tam”, the Spanish version of the song by the Brazilian artist Mc Fioti.
The catchy song, produced by B-One, has its video available on the main digital platforms. After the promotion of “Bum Bum Tam Tam”, the performer prepares to promote two more singles: “Después del romo” y “La Movie”.
“I started improvising in the streets, I recall I went to the “freestaleros” meetings until one day I met Javi, known as Dj Patio, who inspired me to record my first song”, he said.
K2 La Para says that he does not plan to classify himself as an urban singer since he feels capable of performing any genre such as salsa, bachata and merengue.
The 24-year-old also highlighted that, in the future, he will launch some music titles in collaboration with other national and international colleagues because in the union there is the key to extending and enhancing Dominican urban music.
