The L’Art s’en Mêle gallery located on Route de la Riviéra, which was ravaged by fire on April 4, has not disappeared. Its founder, artist Viviane Pelus, is slowly restarting artistic activities, it must be said that many artists felt a little orphaned by the disaster.
After the Souda Festival, held from October 6 to 9 at the Saint-François airfield, where international and Guadeloupean artists (Antonwè, Artkorbagdad, Bizo, Mya, François Piquet and Margot&c. Photos) created monumental works from aircraft parts, L’Art s en Mêle presents Hugo Territoriale, from October 23 to 29 (instead of October 21 to 20) in an exhibition entitled “Métamorphoses en 2 ans”. Through a series of paintings, drawings, sketches and an installation by Atelier 13, the artist takes visitors on a captivating journey that traces his artistic transformation over time.
The opening of this exhibition was scheduled for Saturday October 21, but because of bad weather conditions in Guadeloupe due to Hurricane Tammy, it will be held on Tuesday October 24 at 6:00 pm at Criss Art in Bas-du-Fort, Le Gosier.
