Her experience in the local film industry is marked by unforgettable characters.
A setback in the health of her mother led the actress Margaux Da Silva to seek an activity that would free her from the suffering that consumed her being. About six years ago, when her mother was diagnosed with cancer, she decided to embrace something that would free her soul and she clung to the acting.
“It was difficult moments when I was looking for refuge and the acting served as a catharsis, but something wonderful happened, I realized that this was my passion, so I am grateful for the directors who gave me the opportunity to act each one of the characters I’ve played”, reveals Da Silva enthusiastically.
A Brazilian in the Dominican Republic
Born in Brazil on January 9, Margaux took acting classes with the actor Manny Pérez and then with the actress Laura García Godoy, in addition to going to castings to put into practice what she learned.
Her great opportunity came from one of her first castings for the movie “339 Amin Abel”, in which she played Mirna Santos, Amin’s wife.
Soon there was“Dinero fácil“ in which she played Miranda ; in “Miriam miente“, Margaux accepted the character of Claudia and “Sin aliento“ gave her the opportunity to play the role of Angela.
A next film in the USA
Her experience in Dominican cinema continued in “Rubirosa”, where she played Marie Cousseau and in “La fiesta”, she was Yoanna. She acted Hanna in “Shelter” (pilot for American series) and will soon be seen in other roles in some films that are in the process of editing and will be released this year.
Although she cannot say a word, in the coming months, Margaux Da Silva will shoot two films in the Dominican Republic and the United States.
