Eddy Herrera was seduced by the unique feeling and bitterness of bachata and together with Frank Reyes, one of the main exponents of this genre, premiered “Por última vez”. The single was released last Friday, February 11, on all digital platforms.
The song with lyrics and music by Eddy, started last Saturday on radio and digital platforms. “I wrote the song last year during the production time of my album Libre, and I did it initially in merengue version. After I heard the feeling of the song, it came to my mind that this song in bachata would be better than in merengue”, explained the merenguero.
“Por última vez” is accompanied by a video, directed by Freddy Vargas, produced by Carlos Mirand and filmed in various parts of the country, where Frank and Eddy appear.
“Because of the tone of the song I immediately thought of my friend Frank Reyes, I thought of his voice and this song was ideal to perform with him and immediately when I made the invitation with much affection he said yes”, said Herrera.
Under the production of Edwin García, one of the most outstanding creators of his generation, “Por última vez” invites bachata lovers not only to dance, but also to enjoy a composition with the quality that has always characterized Eddy Herrera’s productions.
Herrera, has always stood out for his versatility and during his career he has moved through genres such as ballad, bolero, ranchera and bachata.
