Dominican singer-songwriter Alexamil is preparing to release his first musical production under the title “De aquí pa’ llá”, while he keeps warming up the engines with the promotion of the single “Amarte a ti”.
Alexis Miguel Garcia de la Cruz, the singer’s real name, is working on this first album, which will be composed of 10 songs, including five adaptations and the rest are unpublished songs written by himself.
“Since I was nine years old, together with my cousin who is a little older than me, I have been composing songs. I remember that we wrote a salsa that we called “La Tormenta” and from that moment began this path in music and I continue working to transcend myself”, he explained.
“Amarte a ti” is an adaptation of Cristian Castro’s hit song and by next month, the artist will release the second single along with an audiovisual material.
“I have always been captivated by the magic of salsa and I think that in other musical genres we using the same. That’s why I decided to take the leap,” said Alexamil, who began singing urban music.
Alexamil is also an actor and has participated in more than 50 film productions in supporting roles.
