The activity was part of the day of donations that the singer makes every year through her foundation “Sarodj for a Purpose”.
Singer Sarodj made a surprise visit to the Center of the Dominican Rehabilitation Association of San Pedro de Macoris. The activity was part of the day of donations that she organizes every year through her foundation “Sarodj for a Purpose”.
The event took place last Friday afternoon, headed by the artist, who was accompanied by her communications team and developed in cooperation with representatives of Rehabilitation including Dulce Sanchez (administrator of the San Pedro Center), Bekie Mota (director of the Multidimensional Educational Center), Rosa Emilia Ureña (general director of the Special Education Program) and Yulaisi Mota (in charge of Social Work at the institution).
The children enjoyed a fun afternoon full of surprises. Singer, model and actress Sarodj donated toys to 43 children with different disabilities who receive education at the SPM center. In addition, a snack was offered to the children. The center’s management also invited a clown and made a toast to the artist, her work team, the teachers and specialists of the center.
During her visit, Sarodj was able to interact closely with the children and learn about special cases at the center. During her career, Sarodj is known for extending her philanthropic legacy in all sectors. Every year, the artist carries out donation days of toys, school supplies, and supports other initiatives for the poorest.
It should be noted that on the same day Sarodj made the donations, she accomplished one of her greatest achievements throughout her career, becoming the most listened-to-artist on Venezuelan radio for the seventh week. A record never before seen in the region, according to the Monitor Latino ranking.
“Being able to celebrate this achievement by serving others is one of the greatest gifts that God and life have given me. I am very grateful to all the staff of the Rehabilitation Center, my team, and the entrepreneurs, such as Fidelicias, who came together to bring joy to these children. I loved being close to these San Pedro de Macoris angels and being able to contribute to their development and happiness through my foundation Sarodj for a Purpose”, said Sarodj Bertin.
