The versatility of singer and producer Jarxiel is once again evident in the song “El guerrero musical”, a ballad with which he seeks to conquer new audiences.
Born in Santo Domingo and raised in New York, the young performer does not pigeonhole himself in one genre and has climbed in music with genres such as dembow, bachata, merengue, trap, among others.
“I consider myself a versatile singer not only because I perform any genre, but also because apart from singing and composing, I am a musician and producer and that makes me have a broader vision in the music industry”, explained Juan Miguel Monegro Jorge, the singer-songwriter’s real name.
Although he has not finished his engineering degree, the talent of this young man stands out in each composition. “In the song “El Guerrero Musical” I tell my story, part of everything I have lived through to fulfill my dreams”, he said.
Guitar, piano, bass, drums, güira, conga and bongo are some of the instruments played by Jarxiel, who began his career in 2005 at Lehman High School in the Bronx.
