Alliance Francophone and Radio France Internationale held until February 29, 2016 the 4th edition of the “Prix de la Jeune Écriture Francophone Stéphane Hessel-Alliance Francophone – RFI” (Stéphane Hessel Literary Prize). The theme for this year’s Prize was “The Living Together”.
For this 4th edition, the jury of the Stéphane Hessel Literary Prize chose “Les Autres” by the Ivorian Léonce Jésus Emmanuel Dax (1st) and “La Légende des Étoiles” by the Cameroonian Arthur Ulrich Biloa (2nd). This year, the two winners were chosen in the category “Short Stories” because there was no competition in the category “Poems”.
Both aged 23, the young writers heard the pleasant news on March 18 at the International Book Fair in Paris (From March 17 to 20) on the stand called “Pavilion Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire, Invited Cities Book Paris 2016 “.
The big winner, Léonce Jésus Emmanuel Dax, used to win writing competitions. In 2009, he won the “Prix ivoirien Les Manuscrits d’Or” for its shirt story “Un balai!”.
