If you are a filmmaker, you can register and send your films from May 1 to November 30, 2021. This 3rd edition of the CineVision Sud Film Festival will be held from 14 to 20 January 2022 in Guadeloupe.
Organized by the association Mission Cinéma Caraïbe, the CineVision Sud Film Festival competition is supported by the Ministry of Overseas Territories, the Guadeloupe Region, the Department of Cultural Affairs of Guadeloupe, and other public and private partners.
It presents films from the Antilles-Guyane (Guadeloupe, Martinique, St. Martin, St. Barthélemy and French Guiana), the French overseas territories, the Caribbean and French-speaking Africa. Its objective is to offer a wide audience works presenting topics related to the history and experience of these countries. A specific section is reserved for young talents, passionate about cinema, through their school film productions.
The number of films that will be selected to compete in each of the 7 categories is as follows :
- -5 feature films (from 1h15 including credits)
- 10 short fiction films (max 30 min including credits)
- 10 short documentary films (max 30 min including credits)
- 10 short school films, fiction or documentary (max 5 to 30 minutes including credits)
- 5 web-series short films (max 30 min including credits)
- 5 animated short films (max 20 min including credits)
- 5 defi2mobilefilm* short films (*mobile film of max 2 min including credits).
