The choreographer and director of the Núcleo Extremo dance academy, Larybel Olivero, continues to fight to win the second season of MasterChef Celebrity Dominican Republic and her desire to win in this edition was demonstrated in the recent release of the program after winning the “Best Dish” of the elimination challenge.
The singer is representing El Patronato Dominicano por la Danza, Inc. which was founded in 2009 with the aim of promoting, disseminating and supporting the development of dance in the Dominican Republic.
“It is my wish to be awarded the prize because I want to continue to give hope to the hundreds of young people of the Patronato whose love for dance makes them committed to supporting the teaching of dance through values. But most of all, I want to give back to our country and share who I am because I am a living testimony of that. They also helped me when I was a child with scholarships from other artistic institutions to learn to dance and if there is one thing that is clear to me, it is that now it is my turn to give back!”, larybel said.
About her career
After a distinguished career as a dancer, choreographer and dance director, Larybel embarked on another of her dreams almost two years ago: singing.
She recently arrived from Colombia where she was filming music videos for her first music album. The album will be titled “Larybel Salvaje” (Wild Larybel), like the first single she released, where she sings to love, to her roots, with a touch of reggae, urban pop and of course Latin rhythms.
This album is being produced by Song Factory RD and the direction of the videos is under the artistic vision of her husband, the outstanding producer and choreographer Jonathan Castillo, something that makes this great adventure a more special experience for both of them.
