The band competes in the “Best Merengue Album” category with the production “Los Conquistadores”.
Puerto Rican merengue band Grupo Manía is “happy and grateful” for its nomination to the Latin Grammy Awards in the category “Best Merengue and/or Bachata Album” with its most recent production “Los Conquistadores” and it is finalizing details of its live concert for Saturday, October 31 9:00pm.
In the meantime, the orchestra composed of artists Héctor “Banchy” Serrano, Daniel Serrano, Emmanuel Vizcarrondo and Rubiel Barroso, announced that the live concert with the same name as its album, will offer an excellent repertoire for the pleasure of the fans. The quartet is booked in the Dominican Republic by the record label Lanhut Record of the impresario Engelbert Landolfi.
On the other hand, with the slogan “Music Humanizes Us” the #21 edition of the Latin Grammy Awards that will take place in Miami next November 19 at 8:00 pm, announced on September 29 the nominees and the band Grupo Mania, that celebrates 27 year career, appeared in the acclaimed lists.

Grupo Manía who won a Latin Grammy in 2003 with the production “Latino” under the Universal Music label, competes in this category with the productions of the artists, José Manuel Calderón “The Genetics of Bachata”, Manny Cruz “Bailando Contigo”, Eddy Herrera “Ahora” and Daniel Santacruz “Larimar”.
