17 carnival groups had announced their participation in the traditional “Lundi Gras Lighting Parade” in Basse-Terre: Ambyans Mass, Lakou Zaboka, Magma, Ti Bwa, Bouyòt Doré, Foud’la, Kalson all Stars, Karmelo, Pikan, Waka, Volcan, Akwarèl, Arioka, Ki les Mass, Ka Mawon, VIM and Chen’la.
From 8:00 pm, the carnival lovers walked through the city’s streets in music and light. In spite of the rain, the spectators were present along the route to salute their courage and applaud their works.
