Frère Independent announces the opening of registrations for the 17th edition of PooL Art Fair Guadeloupe. The archipelago’s largest contemporary art exhibition will take place from June 13 to 15, 2025 at the cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre.
The art world (artists, art dealers, curators, collectors, galleries, cultural associations, artist collectives, etc.) interested in participating in the Pool Art Fair Guadeloupe are invited to register or contact the association.
Selection is based on analysis of the works: quality of execution, mastery of the chosen technique, appropriateness of the technique to the subject and interest of the subject. The association also attaches great importance to the artist’s commitment to his or her work (not necessarily political commitment) and his or her ability to evolve, even if the works presented may contain artistic errors or defects. Young artists can also register for the Guadeloupean largest contemporary art exhibition.
The exhibition will be held at the cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre on June 13, 14 & 15, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The opening is on Thursday June 12.
The program is announced as follows:
– Guest artist: to be announced
– Conversations: lectures, debates, round tables, art discussions
– Corpus Christi: evening dedicated to body art expression
– School visits: reserved times on Friday 9.00 am – Noon
– Night: Friday June 13. PooL Art Fair open until 10:00 pm. Other venues open until midnight or 1:00 am, if possible
– Art Week: an online and printed program highlighting all the art events taking place during the fair
– Several awards: Afflelou, People’s Choice, Art Critic, Success Story

– The name of the guest artist for this edition will be announced in April
