Award-winning Puerto Rican artist Ozuna releases his new single “La Nena”, an innovative and melodious fusion of trap and R&B, which keeps the essence of his Puerto Rican and Dominican roots. This release reaffirms his position as one of the most influential Latin artists worldwide.
The song features captivating lyrics in which Ozuna describes a woman who is independent, self-confident and desired by many. With a seductive tone, the artist expresses his attraction for “La Nena”, highlighting her beauty and personality, while suggesting an intense and passionate connection between the two. That’s why Jovianca Rodriguez, a young woman who is a member of the U.S. Army and represents the power of women, was invited to star in the song’s video.
For the production, composition and lyrics of “La Nena”, Ozuna collaborated with: “El Creador Henry”, Hi Flow, and Tivi Gunz. The music video, filmed in Miami under the direction of Matias Vial, and the creative direction of Raymi Paulus, features different scenarios that complement the narrative of the song, even showing Ozuna “floating in the air” because of his attraction to ‘la nena’.
This single marks Ozuna’s second release in 2025, after the successful “Más Que Tú”, released in February in collaboration with Colombian rising star Kapo.
We remember that Ozuna recently attended as a special guest at the exclusive event organized by Elton John, during the 2025 Oscar Awards, where he shared with prominent entertainment personalities, demonstrating his growing influence on the international scene.
In addition, the artist celebrated his 33rd birthday on March 13 at a surprise party in San Juan, Puerto Rico, surrounded by friends and family. In videos shared on social networks, he was seen playing the “pandero”, a typical Puerto Rican instrument, showing his attachment to the culture of his homeland.
“La Nena” is now available on all digital platforms.
