The association “Frère Independent” is looking for artists and participants for the EAC programme

Within the framework of the Artistic and Cultural Education (EAC) programme of the Direction des Affaires Culturelles (DAC), the association “Frère Independent”, chaired by Thierry Alet, proposes to people who love visual arts to be closer to the evolution of our society. “Indeed, we are living in a transition period, where the world is resuming activity while keeping some targeted restrictions. The use of digital technology is still very strong. Its presence and the need to master this tool will remain long after the virus has gone”, it says.

The association therefore proposes “a hybrid arts education programme”: “This programme is open to leisure centres and/or classes. A series of creative workshops will be offered to children under the direction of an artist (painting, drawing, photography and digital creations). These workshops will be extended by sessions aiming to familiarize children with digital tools in art, (digitization of works, transfers, on line publication etc)”.

At the end of this training, the public will be able to visit exhibitions of the children’s work in virtual galleries.

Artists, cultural and digital actors, leisure centres, public and private institutions interested in the project are invited to contact the association via Lyne Kaczmarek’s email address : lyne@frereindependent.com or What’s app at +590 690 97 01 65.
